After a year hiatus the event called “Rock Da Boat” is back bigger and better hosted by the Artist Red Rat from Jamaica
Cleveland, OH. June 1st, 2010 - Caribbean Groove Production and Promotions presents "Rock Da Boat: Swim Wear Affair Midnight Cruise.” The event will be hosted by one of Jamaica’s finest artist named Red Rat and is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on whoever attends. Music will be provided by Higher Seas sound system with two of Cleveland’s premiere DJ’s, Organik Sound with DJ Chubby and Power Squad with DJ Powerstone. This all takes place on The Nautica Queen docked at 1153 Main Avenue, Cleveland, OH. West bank of the flats.
Red Rat is one of Jamaica's most versatile and exciting performers. His catalog includes "Shelly-Ann", "Dwayne" and "Tight Up Skirt", the classics that catapulted him to the top of reggae charts Worldwide showcasing his unmistakable voice, unique sense of humor and unforgettable trademark "Oh-No!" Red Rat's steady radio play and demand for his outrageous performances led to appearances all over the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and beyond. His musical diversity and mainstream popularity led to a series of collaborations with artists such Groove Armada. Red Rat's wide pop appeal and amazing performances makes him the ideal artist for this event.
This event takes place on Saturday July 31st 2010 Midnight on the Nautica Queen and it promises to be the event that people have been wanting for a while. It is an event which requires punctuality, with boarding at11:30 PM and cruise at midnight. Tickets are $65 pre-sold and $75 at the gate. Dinner is included along with hosting from an international artist, Red Rat and some of Cleveland’s finest DJ’s. We hope to make this event one that is enjoyable to everyone and to help spread the culture of good reggae music in Cleveland.
Caribbean Groove Productions and Promotions LLC (CGP) is a company that provides promotions for shows, parties, DJ services, marketing such as flyer designs and printing.
